What to do when Reiki does not work?
If it does not work ...
Sometimes what may occur is that the soul of the healer and the soul of the client are not compatible and hence one or the other is not totally happy with the results of the therapy. There are many other reasons for the lack of success in such circumstances.
More often than not the expectations of the therapist or client are preformed before the therapy and then become disappointed when they are not satisfied.
The universal energy of Reiki works along the lines of natural laws. The body, psyche and soul assist in specific moments to do their best in the healing process the problem is that these attempts are not always equally effective as they are when imagined within the human mind.
Perhaps it is to be expected that Reiki cannot always fulfill its potential and sometimes misses its target but that does not mean that it is not effective in other fields that we have not noted. Many times there occurs changes on the psychic level where the effects of therapy are hard to define and recognize; they can also show up on a spiritual level where they are harder to recognize than those of a psychological or physical nature as often the results of Reiki come to the fore after some time, e.g., after several weeks or months especially when dealing with the healing of chronic illnesses or chronic problems.
The effectiveness of Reiki can also be effected due to many of the problems being less visible as in the case when a client within themselves are not truly seeking to heal because the illness is needed by his soul as a life experience, an excuse for failure in a specific segment of life and work or for other reasons.
This unpreparedness for change, and hence the failure here of Reiki, may come about if there is not communication with the therapist. Users of the Reiki energy can be in advance actually reject any successful outcome of the therapy. In such a situation there are many doubts whether such a person can simply receive universal energy and hence naturally Reiki will not work on such a person.
Reiki practitioners have to be especially aware that they are not forcing Reiki upon people rather that it should be used only upon people who truly wish it to be.
The ego of the therapist in such a situation must take a few steps backwards. If he feels that he has the need to show the importance of Reiki upon a person who has doubts in Reiki this is in reality only a projection of the ego and not a true motif to help another being.
