Illness is an advisor not an enemy!
Considering that people often misunderstand illness it would not be misplaced to dedicate a few words here to this issue.
Just contemplate that every person is a sphere filled with long lights. With a healthy, both psychologically and physically, person the sphere is straight, without much of a hollow recess and convex that can uncover its form. Also such a straight sphere can produce a dark stains. These are parts of life in which a person can dedicate himself or herself to. These are signs that the person has not gain controlled over something and hence life is placing them on trial so they can learn lessons.
So once a man will dedicate himself to the “injustices” of the sphere he will totally balance out and live in unity with his himself. No person be they healthy or not is in the ideal state of balance, no-one is a “total sphere” and in reality it is this incompletion of a man that has brought this into illness into his life and it also means that a body has the ability to rid itself of this.
If we do not take up the challenges that life gives us separate from normal experiences we have collected in order to get closer to unity of all, then life will offer us schools to do so. In reality the wise teacher always gives us the same experience that will help us grow spiritually. If we always say “no” to these attempts then the next level of a truly enrooted school is that of illness. From now when you have such an exam placed before your nose such as illness and other problems take a good look at them!
Illness is also a challenge and a possibility for spiritual growth. If we turn our back to this test and in every way fight against illness rather than try to understand it then we are again rejecting a valued test that we can resolve. We must take the illness as an advisor, a friend who wishes to warn us that we must change to become healthy, and one with the Light.
If we thus take the illness as a challenge in time we will not need to be shown in anyway that we must be warned. When we become ill we must be prepared to listen to what the illness is trying to tell us. We have to be aware in which parts of our life the illness is trying to be a light that shines on our past, whether it is on the part that we are trying to avoid as we seek not to engage with all challenges set us. When we look at the cause of illness we must also accept the proffered resolutions they set before us. It is here that Reiki can be of great assistance to us as it gives us the strength t more readily do this.
If you feel sorry for yourself because of these problems placed before you, if you judge the pain you are merely pouring oil onto the fire as it is better that you look at these problems with humor and love. Aha, you are still here so tell me what you are trying to say? If you are to engage the problem in such a manner it will then lose power of your. Remember the words of St Matthew, “do not resist evil” (Matthew 39) and “love thy neighbors” (Matthew 44).
